Stellar and Ripple appeared in the IMF document<\/strong><\/h2>\n

XRP has always been a cryptocurrency that has caused much debate, <\/span>discussion and even mystical interpretation<\/b>s. Regardless of how you feel about it, there has been a lot of information coming out lately that makes you feel like you are part of a conspiracy theory.<\/span><\/p>\n

The World Bank recently published a report naming Ripple and Stellar as stablecoins, and now members of the XRP community have turned their attention to another document.<\/span><\/p>\n

Most recently, on January 26, 2022, the <\/span>International Monetary Fund<\/span><\/a> (IMF) released a document, <\/span>Blockchain Consensus Mechanisms, a primer for global supervisors<\/b>. The gist of the document is that it describes the differences between PoW, PoS, DPoS and fBFT <\/span>(Stellar and Ripple are given as examples<\/b>), and provides guidance to supervisors.<\/span><\/p>\n
